Course aim
To apply public health research methods in the context of environmental health risk and management.
Course content
Concepts of environmental health, safety standards, approaches to risk management and safety control, legislation, management procedures. Incorporate public health research methods to address environmental health issues, including critical analysis of environmental health management policies and procedures. Examination of epidemiological data to understand how the environment impacts health, and to understand population-specific environmental health risks.
