Study an Australian degree anywhere in the world

I decided to study UniSA Online’s Communication degree because of the various topics and disciplines it covers. Once I graduate, I intend to pursue more senior-level roles within my current organisation. This degree will continue to equip me with further skills, knowledge and abilities that will provide an edge when it's time to move on to a role with more responsibility.

Put simply, my UniSA Online degree provides me with flexibility and empowerment. I have the flexibility to study in my own time so I can keep a healthy study/work/life balance, allowing me to remain agile enough to take on any opportunities that arise.

I have chosen this degree as I believe it will assist me to pursue my career further in disability, social inclusion and social policy. I also chose the Bachelor of Community Health as it encompasses units that I think are actually useful to my discipline.

This degree really appealed to me as it offered a wide subject base around the disciplines of psychology and sociology. I’m excited about where this degree will take me – it will open us so many doors in different directions – I just have to choose which one!

It’s only early days in my professional career, but already the skills I developed through my coursework have given me an edge in my current role. I really enjoyed the exposure to the ‘nuts and bolts’ of Data Science techniques with my study, from crafting machine learning algorithms by hand, to working with industry on real world problems with advanced technology stacks.

The flexibility of studying online has greatly improved my time management skills. It has taken a lot of self-discipline to complete my degree whilst working full-time, but the results are worth every late night! Interact with your tutors and support staff regularly – they’re always very quick to respond to any questions.

Studying online suited me perfectly as I continued to work full-time in the retail industry. The flexibility of online study allowed me to study from the comfort of my own home, and pursue an education that I otherwise would not have experienced – all of which have now helped me further my career.
