Course aim

The course provides students with an understanding of the current theory, processes and practice of strategic staffing, recruitment and selection in organisations, and provides opportunities to develop and practice relevant recruitment and selection skills.

Course content

This course will critically examine the social, legal, and administrative issues associated with the recruitment, selection and induction of individuals by organisations. Students will gain knowledge and skills in workforce planning, job analysis, channels and methods of recruitment, shortlisting, selection processes and onboarding practices.
