Course aim
To enable students to apply the theoretical underpinnings of event management to the professional practice in event management.
Course content
Event stakeholders; event experience and visitor behaviour; impacts of events; and event strategic planning including event design, financial and human resources management, event operations, legal and risk management and evaluation.
