Course aim
To enable students to exploit Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to improve tourism, event and hospitality business practices.
Course content
Digital and its impact on tourist behaviour; Digitisation of value chain and systems; E-commerce and e-marketing; Electronic distribution channels in tourism; Social media marketing; Social commerce and collaborative commerce (the sharing economy) in tourism; Destination Management Systems (DMS); Smart destinations and smart tourism.
