Course aim
To analyse the practical operation of the criminal justice system and apply conceptual frameworks to provide solutions for contemporary justice issues.
Course content
In this course students will apply criminological concepts and research strategies to understand how criminal justice operates in practice. The course offers students a chance to deepen their knowledge of the criminal justice sector and practice the skills required in industry. Looking at areas such as crime policy, crime prevention, and crime research, this course allows students to evaluate the practical application of criminological knowledge.
