Course aim
To provide the opportunity to students to create a minimum viable digital solution to address a business challenge facing industry today and to determine how the product could be scaled and implemented into a business environment.
Course content
Many factors can influence the successful implementation and adoption of a digital solution in business. Managing the change, negotiating with stakeholders and managing timelines, budget and risks are all critical for successful implementation and adoption. A minimum viable product will be developed. An implementation roadmap, change plan, and sustainment plan will be developed. In developing the project outcomes, real world examples of issues and challenges experienced on Accenture projects will need to be addressed.
Solutions for the business challenge to be provided by learners in this course:
- Creating a digital product design to address a business challenge
- Planning a digital transformation
- Change impact and change strategy
- Risk analysis and mitigation strategies for digital transformations
- Scaling and sustaining the implementation of a digital solution
Real-world references to approach the business challenge in this course:
- Further details on the business case: stakeholder requirements, operational challenges etc
- Further data on the business organisation (fictitious): business performance, employees etc
- Sources and industry references for creating a digital product design and roadmap for digital solution
