Course aim
To engage students with the frameworks and methodologies associated with implementing digital led business transformation opportunities, and to equip students to undertake business case analysis.
Course content
Transforming business with digital technologies requires the use of different frameworks, approaches, and techniques. We will introduce different methodologies commonly used when implementing digital technologies. Approaches for defining value will be used to assess potential digital transformation opportunities. Examples from Accenture projects and initiatives will be used to demonstrate how the methodologies are used to implement digital opportunities.

Methodologies, Frameworks and Approaches
- Design Thinking (DT) fundamentals: Approaches- Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test and Iterate, DT tools like affinity clustering, round robin, concept poster etc.
- Agile fundamentals: Sprints, Scrum, Waterfall vs. Agile, Roles
- DevOps fundamentals: Optimise, Organise, Empower, Align
- Business case creation
- Data driven insights and data visualisation
