To examine the fundamentals of disease control through the exploration of emergency responses to disease in the public health context.

Course content

Concepts related to the development and spread of disease; examination and appraisal of strategies developed to prevent and control disease; exploration of emergency responses to disease and public health emergencies at the local, national, and international levels; consideration of legislative and regulatory frameworks in disease control; privacy and confidentiality in disease control.
