Course aim

To provide students with the opportunity to integrate the learning that they have gained in the first three years of their study in a project that simulates working in the commercial environment. Students will solve technical challenges requiring intellectual and research skills alongside the people challenges of working in inter-disciplinary teams using their organisational and inter-personal skills.

Course content

The course is designed around problem based learning activities and skills and self directed learning strategies to achieve solutions to a series of multidimensional technical, social and environmental problems. It also includes strategies dealing with teamwork and self reliance in order to achieve an optimum solution.

Completion of all 1st, 2nd and 3rd year courses in the Bachelor of Construction Management (XBBE) or the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours).
