Course aim
To acquaint students with current industry practice and to develop an understanding of the theoretical framework supporting investment analysis and portfolio management in both their professional careers and personal lives as investors.
Course content
Students will gain confidence in a range of techniques, and develop a capacity for independent thought and critical analysis in the areas of investment analysis and portfolio management, risk analysis, portfolio selection, event studies in finance, mutual fund performance, derivative markets, corporate finance, international finance and technical analysis as well as the latest developments in the field.
