Course aim

To demonstrate the physical principles used in the design and management of buildings to create environmentally suitable and sustainable conditions.

Course content

Climate change, greenhouse emissions, solar radiation, energy efficiency, environmentally sustainable design parameters focusing on passive design strategies, indoor environmental quality, including thermal, lighting and acoustic comfort, water management and efficiency, renewable energy generation.
