Course aim
To interpret and relate the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act and Regulations, to building, planning and environmental controls and their application to development and to the practice of building surveying and planning.
Course content
The Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act and Regulations, Local Government Act, the National Construction Code Volume 1, building approvals and certification, State and Local Government Strategic planning, and planning assessment and the appeals process.
