Course aim
To develop students’ understanding of the organisational aspects and strategic context of training and development and apply theories of learning, motivation and instructional design to training and development of people.
Course content
Learning in the changing workplace; the training professional's role; learning organisations and knowledge management; strategic training; analysis and assessment of training needs; theories of adult learning and motivation; design and delivery of training programs; managing a training session; measuring and evaluating outcomes; e-learning and implications of learning and performance support in the workplace.
