Course aim

To enable students to apply communication theory and literature on key issues to organisational practices.

Course content

Organisational communication theories as they relate to understanding and working with diverse others; interpersonal and team communication; intercultural and intergenerational communication; workplace practices; feedback in the workplace, oral and visual communication; online communication and social media; negotiation; managing conflict; persuasion and power.
