Course aim

To understand the impact of natural and built environments on those ageing or living with disablement.

Course content

This course examines ageing and disability friendly design, planning principles, and policy as they relate to the natural and built environments. Students will learn to apply these planning and design principles to analysing; the home, transport and mobility, the workplace, leisure and recreation facilities, and urban spaces.
