Course aim
To extend students' news writing skills and understandings, focusing on feature writing, freelance journalism and specialist reporting.
Course content
Students will further develop their skills in feature writing for print and online media, and will become familiar with key elements of magazine journalism and freelance journalism. They will explore specialised reporting, and will examine the effects of social media on journalism practice.
