Course aim
To develop knowledge of concepts of nutritional science applied to exercise and sport; develop an understanding of the relationships between diet and sports performance and apply sports nutrition principles to exercise science.
Course content
Nutritional requirements for training, pre-competition, competition and recovery. Supplements and ergogenic aids. Requirements for athletes with special needs, requirements in special circumstances and training in different environmental conditions.
