Grants of up to $5,000 are available to your employer (per employee, per year) to support you undertaking study. It is expected you will study part-time as much as possible.

Associate Degree in Information Technology

Financial grant and study support

Employers participating in Women in STEM Cadetships and Advanced Apprenticeships Program will be provided financial support from the Commonwealth Government. Up to $5,000 per employee, per year is available and these funds must be used to support employees’ participation in the program. Use of funds can include, but is not limited to:

  • Reimbursing employee expenses related to tuition fees
  • Helping with associated program administration
  • Provide study equipment and resources.

Time commitment

UniSA Online’s Associate Degree in Information Technology and Associate Degree in Engineering are both two-year qualifications. To qualify for the Women in STEM Cadetship Program financial support, employees must successfully complete their degree by 30 June 2027.

Employees will learn across four 10-week terms a year, with one course/subject per term considered part-time study. We recommend 10 to 15 hours of study per week for each course. Studying 100% online means you can engage with course materials at your own pace, whenever it suits you – there is no need to be online at a particular time.
