Student contributions
UniSA Online undergraduate courses are Commonwealth Supported for eligible students. Commonwealth supported students are charged a portion of the cost of their higher education through a student contribution. The Australian Government also contributes to part of the cost through a Commonwealth contribution.
The Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) allows eligible students to defer their student contribution (through HECS-HELP) and repay it later through the taxation system. Some Commonwealth supported students are not eligible for HECS-HELP.

Single Course Enrolments
If you are studying a single course with UniSA Online, your fees may be Commonwealth supported in some instances:
- If you are enrolling as an approved cross-institutional student and your home degree is Commonwealth supported, your single course study will be Commonwealth supported; or
- If you are a current on-campus UniSA student and your UniSA Online course is completed as part of your degree, your single course study will be Commonwealth supported.
if you are enrolling in a single course that is not part of a degree (ie you are enrolling as a non-award domestic student), UniSA Online single courses are $2.069.75 per course (undergraduate) for 2024. Non-award students are full fee-paying students which means costs are paid upfront once you’ve enrolled. As these are non-award courses, HELP loans are not available for single unit students.
