Course aim
To provide students with expertise in the use and application of pre and post-contract administration procedures including cash flow analysis, construction claims, construction dispute resolution and professional duty of care.
Course content
Pre-contract contract administration procedures. Contract arrangements and tendering procedures. Cash flow forecasting and analysis. Post contract financial administration of construction projects. Torts of negligence, trespass and nuisance in relation to construction. Contract claims management. Alternative dispute resolution and dispute avoidance.
