Course aim

To familiarise students with the property development process and develop an analytical framework by which each student can make property and real estate investment decisions.

Course content

Nature and scope of the property development life cycle of property developments. Investment analysis, development feasibility, methods of valuation and analysis of property. Financial, legal, political, social and physical factors affecting property development, risk and sensitivity in property investment decisions, the role of Planning in property.
