Course aim

This course is designed to improve students’ conceptual grasp of the role and practical application of financial statements in business analysis, particularly as it applies to valuation, credit assessment, strategic decision-making, and assessment of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Course content

Financial statements, business analysis and valuation; analysis of corporate and competitive strategies; accounting analysis, adjustments, and distortions; financial analysis, forecasting and valuation; equity analysis; credit analysis and assessment; mergers and acquisitions; governance and regulatory compliance.
