UO Managing Digital Media

Course aim

To extend students’ knowledge and skills of professional communication into the use and management of digital and visual media.

Course content

Students will become familiar with the principles, conventions and lexicon of digital and visual design in order to be able to use basic tools of design, evaluate effective visual communication practice and critique the value of emerging technologies to an organisation’s communication effort. The course will prepare students for collaboration with, and management of, specialist designers in the production of material across multi-platforms.
