Course aim

The aim of this course is to allow students to investigate and experience the different types of management
problems and decisions that exist in organisations today by developing skills in problem solving, analysis and
communication.

Course content

Types of problems and decisions; types of problem solvers and decision makers (decision styles, worldviews);
approaches to problem solving and decision making; creativity and innovation in problem solving and decision
making; tools and techniques to support problem solving and decision making; collaborative and individual
decision making.
